Default Current Draw

Danny

Could you tell me the idle current and stalled current of an 8611a?

Also what is the the continuous and peak operating current rating of a JR receiver (let's say a JRPR2000)

Does it make a difference what receiver we select for this info?

Thanks!

Rob

Servo current would be roughly 11 ma or a little over at idle and roughly 3 amps stalled.

Receiver current is roughly 10 ma for most receivers.

Thanks Danny,

However on the receiver I meant the max current it could handle.

(i.e. using a single receiver on a 40%)

I don't have an exact number, but roughly 60 amps, but the voltage drop becomes high at that rate. The connectors are by far the limiting factor, not the receiver. A single receiver is more than adequate for 40% and larger aircraft. A single receiver in fact is the preferred set up.
