Spectrum Module
Danny,
Would using the 10x Spectrum Module give the transmitter the benefits of the faster response time as well as the model match?
Thank you
Rob

RE: Spectrum Module
I think you will find that model match is a function of the transmitter and not the RF section/module. Therefore a replacement module would not have the model match functionality. As for response time, I cant answer that one.

RE: Spectrum Module
The system speed will be the same or slightly faster than PCM. Model Match and Servosync are only available with systems that are built with Spektrum built in.

RE: Spectrum Module
Thank you for the fast replies Danny,
Will the 6100 receiver worth with a 10x and the spectrum module? (for fomies) and if I order the module plus the 9 channel receiver will it work with the 12 x when it comes out for giant scale.
Also from what you know is the programing on the 12x going to be closer to the 10x or 9 channel?
Thank you again.

RE: Spectrum Module
Thank you John. Just FYI you might want to update the website on the 6100 receiver to indicate that it will work with the module as well as the 9 and 12 channel radio. As of now it says it will only work with the dx7.
Thank you again,
Rob

RE: Spectrum Module
When putting the DSM2 module in my JR8103 how does the antenna work. Is that wire from the module to the antenna external?
If not already, when will these systems be available?
How does the range on DSM2 Rx's compare with 72mhz Rx's?
Does the 9303 with DSM2 technology not have a removeable module on the back?
I hear talk of speed of PCM or PPM. Is PCM faster than PPM and 2.4Ghz is faster than these?

RE: Spectrum Module
Yes, the Spektrum module wire is external. The 9 channel JR system will be available soon. The range is similar, they are both line of sight systems. The X9303 2.4 does not use a module. PPM is faster than PCM, the Spektrum module installed in an existing system is roughly the same speed or slightly faster than PCM. Dedicated systems such as the X9303 2.4 are much faster.

RE: Spectrum Module
Danny, is this module compatible to the pins in Graupner MC22 with the assumsion that I link them up with some wires? If yes, I will consider to purchase a MC22 without module and put in the DSM2 from Spektrum.

RE: Spectrum Module
Danny,
Is the 6100 rx suitable for a pylon racer like the Sokol, electrical setup will be 3s 2100, 3 wind motor. The Sokol is a fibreglass model. Also would the 6100 be suitable in a balsa pylon the same size as the sokol on the same electricals.
I cannot wait for my module, i have purchase 6 x 6100 rxs ready to go.
Thanks
Rory
