That's the binding plug for the receiver. Read the manuel, its the only way to bind the receiver to the transmitter. Dennis

That is for the bind plug and you can use the lanyard to secure it to the TX battery leads and then insert the bind plug into that . That way you will always have the bind plug when you need it.

That is the Bind plug HOLDER that I use to keep my Bind plug hanging off the back bar of my tranmitter. The Bind plug plugs INTO the holder, and I loop the strap around my rear bar. I can't tell from the photo if the Bind plug is plugged into the holder here, but that's what it's for, Bob.
