Default A123 batteries on AR9000

Hello Danny.
I have a couple of questions regarding a possible setup with A123 Rx batteries without regulators.
First question: will the AR9000 handle a dual 6,6v power supply ( one plug on the bat port and one on the aux2 port )?
Second question: will the JR 8611 handle a 6,6v power supply ?

Thanks,
Oliver.

Yes, the receiver can. The servos are designed for 6V operation with up to a 5 cell nicd or nimh. I'm not familiar with the operation of those batteries to know how or if they will work acceptably.

I have read where a lot of the Giant Aeorbatic guys are switching over to A123 batteries with great results.
