Default 8103 Programming

Danny,
My aircraft pulls to the canopy when in a dive. The pattern guys program their 10x to add some elevator to correct this. Can this be done with the 8103? I know that I can mix Thro to Elev but how do I get it to only work when the Thro is in the last few clicks of travel?

This sounds like a nose heavy condition to me. Have you tried moving the CG back a bit?

No, have'nt tried that yet. I'm really happy with the CG at the moment, although it will be moved back for 3D purposes soon.

You would set up a throttle to elevator mix. You can adjust the point at which the percentage becomes active by using an offset. Press select in the mix until the arrow points at Offset. Then move the throttle stick to the position you want the mix to become active. Then press clear. Then press select until the arrow points at the mix percentages. Now below the point you selected on the throttle the arrow should point at the lower percentage, and when you increase the throttle above that point, the arrow will point to the upper percentage. Enter the percentage needed in the lower percentage and you should be set.

OK after reading more I discovered that it had to be mix 3 or higher. I followed your directions and now it's time to see how well it works.. Thanks for the information..
