To do what you described, you first need to inhibit AUX2 and AUX3 in the DeviceSEL. In the Wing Type menu select a NORMAL wing with the aileron and flap dual/mate each to one of the inhibited aux channels. When you do this, the program mixes will have the option you need. If the 9503 is like my 9303, there is no premix of ailerons to flap. You have to use a program mix. Mix AILE -> FROL. The AILE -> FLAP mix will not make the flaps function as ailerons. (Rich must have been thinking of the 11X or 12X.)

RE: JR 9503
Both the 11X and 12X have a AILE -> FLAP mix in their function list that will make the flaps operate as ailerons. According to the 9503 manual, the 9503 is like the 9303 in not having this mix in its function list. I have never seen an official interpretation of FROL. My guess is that it stands for Flap-ROLl. It only shows up as a slave in the program mixes when the plane wing is configured for dual flaps.

RE: JR 9503
The problem is that the individual ailerons are not available for use as the master channel in a program mix. Usually when an aileron or another dual surface is designated as the master channel in a program mix, it is the right one. An AILE -> FLAP program mix will cause both flaps to follow the right aileron. That is, both ailerons will go up when the aileron stick is one direction and both go down when the stick is pushed in the other direction.

RE: JR 9503
The FROL does the trick, now I have Full Ailerons when the gear is up and flaps when the gear is done. I will let everyone know how the maiden goes. Thanks again for everybody's help
