I did the same thing> Hitec module in my JR/Graupner Tx for the big planes;)

and kept the DX6i for the PNP planes [8D]

Kimhoff, just make sure you have the latest version of firmware on your module and Rx (using the Hpp-22 )

All the new ones are DSMX

With the exception of brown out indication its functionally no different than DSM2 (ie, the technology is different but that has no effect on binding or other operational instructions)
