I am impressed with my new 3.2M Extra 300. Well designed and wel thought out. I hope it flies as well as it goes together. ( I am sure it will, I have seen them fly !)

Tony,
If you have any questions on setting up the airplane please feel free to ask. I applogize for the delay on the carbon gear you ordered, I have been trying to find a box that they will fit in. We should hopefully have it all straightened out and shipped out monday.
Thanks,
Kevin

First real question,, How do I install the cowling with front exit cannisters? Seems the bottom of the cowl/cowlring needs to be trimmed. Any suggestions and or photos?
Thanks, Tony

Yeah Tony you will need to cut the bottom of the cowl and cowl ring. I have spent many hours trying to figure out how to do it without cutting it and I cant seem to do it.
I generally just cut it the width of that opening that is in the bottom of the cowl.
