Default Bad ecu?

I think I have bad esu ,just connect brand new engine to mine brand new super Scorpion the k180g ,primed the pump both ways the pump and the burner when go for start ,the kero plug go and nothing the pump not pumping the fuel for initial start fire ,I did try multiple times and nothing I have no start ,this is not the only turbine I have ,mine k140g works perfect ,I think the k180g have bad esu or pump at slower rpm will prime both ways the pump prime and burner prime just not working when I go for start.

Sebastian is sending in the engine, and a report should follow.

If the priming works and it doesn't pump fuel to initiate the startup sequence, your pump power @ ignition is too low. Raising it should cure this problem, but you will probably need to decrease fuel % at preheat or you may get flames.

Sounds like my K180G is doing the same thing. I can not test the starter motor either, but the fuel pump test seems to be working fine. Is this the same thing your motor was doing?
I will call Barry tomorrow.

My fuel pump was bad ,when doing the start up the led on the pump was not so bright comparing to the light now it's brighter so assuming that was the pump ,I did send the turbine abc for service and when back is all good now .

Before sending the turbine rake a look at ghis thread.

maybe this is the problem there are several malfunctions knows and the MPX plugs were the cause:

Just give it a try.

Pulled everything out & reconnected, & it appears to be working correctly now. I think I did not have my MPX connector 100% seated. Time to go get a gallon of kero so I can mix it with Kingtech oil for this test. All I have is 5 gallons mixed with aeroshell, or BP (not sure, I had both), works in my other turbines, but I remember reading somewhere they are prohibited with Kingtechs (couldn't find it in the manual, but honestly didn't search much. I remember it from somewhere).
Thanks again guys

Mhhh seems another MPX problem then.

Kingtech had some bearing report issues with the Aeroshell 500 turbine oil which is possible the cause, so they advise not to use that.
All other turbine oil is okay.

Have fun with playing ;-)

Got my gallon of fuel, mixed it with Kingtech's oil & got a good start! This thing is scary powerful! I dialed it back to 117000 RPM, & will try it tomorrow to see what that equals. I got a max power thrust of 42-44lbs today, that is according to my test bench's scale. Tested in NY, close to sea level & 30 degrees Fahrenheit. What a beast!
