Warm up the end of the tube with a covering heat shrink gun, or dip it in very hot water. This will soften the tube enough to slip it on.

Thanks for the reply Jim,

Tried all that but it won't work, it does not "plop" over the notch it's really driving me to the wall ……..

Strange. I used Festo 4mm tube & a heat gun to soften the tube end & it went on fairly easily. Maybe not hot enough?

I used a heat gun to soften the tube slightly and pushed a metal scribe down the tube to enlarge it slightly and pushed it onto the nipple, works well and after lock wiring its not going anywhere.

I concur with Peter; warm the tubing up with the heat gun, stick a scribe/punch/whatever you call it in far enough to widen the tip of the tubing a bit and then it should fit over the barb. Helps to put a drop of oil on the filter barb.

I just push needle nose pliers into tube and open the pliers up and stretch the tubing gently. It will go on easy and the tube will go back to its original shape.

Good flying!!

Even though it was a tight fit, don't forget to safety wire the tubing on the barbs.

Gus
