Spike,
Curious, what brand and is the pump specifically labeled as "winterized"? I've been using Shell diesel in Northern Colorado, last refilled my jug mid-December, haven't noticed any changes: My K-80G still starts and runs fine.
Thanks,
Greg

Right. Additives are to keep the fuel from gelling up in tanks in the cold. I assumed if it was warm enough it should be fine, but didn't want to risk my engine.
My local Maverick station started advertising winterized diesel about a month ago.
