Ok, the Ultimate Bipe is not one of my favorites. It feels like an RC car with too much steering. I think it's called "Short Coupling" with planes?

I searched YouTube for the Sig 1/4 scale Spacewalker and only found one vid. The guy doesn't seem to be very safety conscious as can be seen in the beginning and his ground handling skills needs some work yet. I like the way the plane handled in the air though. At least with his limited skills. It looks just like a 4*60! I can out fly him though.

Thanks guys. I'm digging the Spacewalker.
Now, gas or glo? lol

I talked with the order line at Sig today. The 1/4 and 1/3 Spacewalkers won't be available until late November per the lady that Italked to. However, the Zenoah G26 and G38 are in stock at Horizon Hobby. There are 1/4 scale servos galore (70 oz. torque @ 4.8V) at around $30.00 each, and there are 1/3 scale servos galore (>100 oz torque @ 4.8v) at around $80.00 to $100.00 each. I think both planes have similar flight characteristics. Just need to determine how much Spacewalker is enough. 1/3 scale takes a lot of covering.

This thread got me thinking about that TF Stinson and I was staring at my little Parkzone version hanging in the garage. I just couldn't resist and ordered the TF kit. It will be a while before I get around to it but at least I will have it.

Go to the magazines and pick something that suits your fancy.....only you know what you like... if you are going to spend time building it, let it be your choice and not that of another person. I see this question pop up lots of times and it makes me wonder why people have to ask someone else to pick a plane for them....
Been building since I was a kid and I'm 68 now....never had to ask someone what to build next......I've built over 100 planes and have enjoyed all of them except for the ones I built for other fliers...I had no interest in the model and just built it for the money......no more of that for me....I want to enjoy my builds.......Ron

Thanks for the help guys and from all of yalls input and some time to think about it, this is my plan. Besides park flyers, I have flown a PT 20, two LT 40s, a Superstar 40, a 4*60, a LT 25, a Goldberg Eaglet 50 and a 4*40. My favorite and what I thought was the easiest and most enjoyable to fly was the 4*60. Of course it wasn't as self righting as a LT 40, but it went where I pointed it. And I suspect the 4* 120 would fly as nice as well. I think it's a great platform for kit bashing and the extra added weight of Solartex and paint over Monocrap won't make a difference.
And I wanted to give gas a try.
And do it cheaply without the cost of retracts.
And fly's well.
And it ain't another Cub.
And it's cheap!
