HELP!!!!
I have been building a Top Flite Gold Edition P-39 and have run into a problem. The paint I used on the Canopy has destroyed it. Unfortunately for me Top Flite has discontinued making the P-39. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there someone I can go to to have the canopy remaid? Top Flite did not have any canopies in stock.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Brandt

I used Warbird colors on mine and had no problems. I would discreetly place a small vent hole in the canopy as the heat in the summer began to alter the shape, luckily I caught what was going on before any serious damage was done.

Hi, I am also looking for a replacement canopy for my gold edition P39. Tried contacting topflite but they told me that there isn't any in stock. Do you have spares that you would be willing to part with?
thanks

Hello:
I just found pics of your Snooks TF P-39. Looks great!
I wonder, did you have any trouble with the wing mounting at the leading edge near the dowels when you built your P-39?
I have read several other threads that state there is a design flaw with the TF GE P-39 where the LE meets the fusalage.
I am about to join my wings and fit the wing to the fusealge so any insight you could provide regarding your build would be helpful.
Thanks,
Chris
