We introduce our new kit Spearhead Jr. 1942. We have tried to keep the appearance same as Jerry STALLOF's original design but designed all the parts from scratch to built it easier . Here are some photos from the kit

Most of the parts are cut from light plywood. Kit comes with a jig for building the fuselage . Jig is pinned on a flat surface and all the formers are plugged in slots on the jig.

As the formers are placed top guide and side balsa spars are glued .Then 2 piece wing saddle is put in place.

fuselage building is quite straight forward .

I have put the fuselage under the table. I'm going to build wing now. To eliminate dihedral adjustments we have designed the main spar one piece . Central balsa doublers are glued in place first. Then the ribs are glued. No plan is needed since all the parts have own slots.

Wing building goes well. All the ribs are perfectly fit in place .
