Default Pilot Figures

I am not very thrilled with the figures that I have found on the net. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a crazy dog pilot figure.

Check out some pet stores. I've found a few god dog toys that have turned into pilots. I have one that is made out of a "Loofa dog" that sounds like something you might be interested in. It's a dog with a big toothy mouth wearing something that looks like an old leather flying helmet.

Go to Target, WalMart or Toy-R-Us and find what you need. More than once I have been eyed suspiciously as I shopped the doll department at Walmart for my pilot figure. I guess they suppose a 63 year old in the doll section must be up to no good.

Take a grandchild with you. That way no one thinks that you are a wierdo. I have a full face beard that makes me look like Sanity Clause. I just tell them I am on a secret mission to check out the toys. I convinced one kid that Ijust bought a train load of coal from West Viginia for delivery to all the bad little boys. I am sure he will grow up to be a serial killer.

There are still shops that sells toys based on Disneyland characters, other cartoon characters etc, incl. "hard toys" such as the Muttley I picked up. But I guess these days these toys are a "NO_NO" because they are painted and can be chewed by little kids - plenty of soft toys in the shops but they are no good for us older boys.

Then also, kids don't play with such toys anymore - it needs to have batteries and a LCD screen..... times have changed fellas.......

Cheers

I have had luck on e-bay, if you are patient they have most everything. I was able to find a "Bender" from Futurama and made a pilot from him for my Astro Hog.

I also had some luck on eBay. Marvin the Martian pilots my Pulse XT.

just paruesing through the thread and saw this... that's awesome!!! i wanna be like you someday. kids need that kind of mentoring now and then to shape up attitudes.

on a second note, i'm building an SMP from Sig, and went to Michaels during halloween and picked up about a 4" skull made of styrofoam for my pilot. looks pretty sweet in the cockpit. can't find the cord to my camera right now. </span>
