Default Ducted fan Force One

I am currently working on a Force 1. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I want to know if it was possible to installl a nitro ducted fan and what the cost figures might be and procedures and if it would be practical.I am on a tight budget. I have built several prop planes but never a jet set up.

I think you'd be better with an electric version. Much more simpler.

Hi Wep,

I remember there being a thread about taking an Enforcer or a Northstar and adding a Byron DF unit to it. It may be an old Jet thread or something along those lines. From what I recall it was a fairly decent performing mod. However limited budgets and ducted fans are usually at opposite ends of the spectrum so to speak

Good Luck with the mod.

There has been a conversion of both the Force One and the Enforcer to DF. The Force One used a turbax and K&B 7.5cc and the Enforcer uses a .91 and Byron Fan until. The best way to do it today would be the Force One set up with a 90mm EDF. Even at that, you are looking at $300+ for the powerplant and batteries.
