Anyone out there have experience with this paint product? My question is will it adhere to ABS plastic or fiberglass parts and be fuelproof? I have a B-USA Citabria I want to cover in Solartex and don't want to run into headaches as I seem to do with the lack of lustrecoat colors. Also, I may want to try my hand at dope and fabric and have researched previous forum posts on the "How To's". I was also wondering if nitrate or butyrate dope will adhere to ABS Plastic either by brushing or spraying. Any information or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

A&PMECH, Have you had training in fabric covering? Take a look at http://www.stits.com we follow along the very same lines as the full scale counterpart. You may not only enjoy it but after covering a model, you could easily move into covering Cubs and Champs. The only difference between what we sell to modelers and what we sell to the full scale restorers is we pre-mix the reducer and blush retarder for the modeler and we put it in a screw top can. We try to make it as easy as we can for the modeler.

Yes, I have been formally trained in the dope and fabric. However, the only time I've done it was during my practical exam to get my airframe license. (That was 17 years ago.) I work on corporate jets, so I know far more about sheet metal than fabric.
