Aviomodelli Fiesler Storch
I am making good progress with my Aviomodelli Fiesler Storch and will soon have to choose a 4 stroke engine. I looked on this website for any details on the Aviomodelli Storch and became alarmed at the number of negative reports. Is their anyone out their who has anything good to say about the Aviomodelli Storch ? In addition, has anyone a recommendation for a 4 stroke engine to fit.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yep I got one. I've been flying mine for about 10 years or so. It flies an absolute dream
Mines got a Laser 80 in it which is perfect . It's STOL performance is excellent.
The only thing I seem to remember is that the C of G wasn't marked on the plan . Just start with it forward 30% of Chord and go from there

Yes still flying the Stearman's Chas. Haven't flown them over the winter yet as the weather here has been very cold and windy , but they're ready for the spring fingers crossed.
I follow your build thread on here so I know the build is in the final stages.
They are a great flying model. I have both of mine set up with differential on the ailerons - twice as much up as down if you see what I mean. i.e. if right aileron comes up 1" then the left one goes down 1/2"
Also I have a 50% rudder / aileron mix programmed into my transmitter . This keeps the turns perfectly balanced.
I'm looking forward to seeing the flying shots of yours - you're gonna love it
