Hello All,
I just pushed the go button for a Juno RC Tsunami and I just found out they don't kit those out anymore. If anyone has an old Tsunami kit sitting on a shelf, Juno RC or otherwise, I would love to buy it. I really had my heart set on one and just picked up a new MVVS .40 for it...

Hi
The Juno website says they are still kitting them. See link: http://www.junorc.com/kits.html

Apparently Juno just stopped kitting them a few weeks ago. Breaks my heart. My old man really wants one of these little beauties. I pointed out the Phoenix 7 ARF and he says "I Don't want no damn ARF, i want a KIT." lol.
Vic- Thanks!

Yeah, I tried to get one a couple of weeks ago. I'd even settle for plans and templates, but he doesn't have those, either. Wish I'd bought one a couple of years ago when I started thinking about it. Real shame. The UltraSport 40's are gone, too, but at least you can get plans for those if the need arises.

I'm still in the market for one of these kits if anyone has one. Don't be shy. I'm looking everywhere for one of these. It's for my dad, it'll honestly more than likely be the last plane he ever will work on.
Vic, thanks again and thanks for being so cool and helpful.

Hi everybody,
Juno RC might just be in limbo for a while. The owner of Juno RC, Derek, is currently in Singapore for his work (a two-year stay). Therefore, kitting new kits is not happening. I talked to Derek, nice guy by the way, he said he might look for a company over there to make the kits. But, I am sure that once he returns, Juno RC will start selling kits again. I managed to stock up on the F-20 and F-18 kits, but I only have one Tsunami kit. I wish I had ordered two more Tsunami kits. The funny thing is, when Direct Connection owned the designs, the kits cost more. Under Juno RC, who purchased the rights to the designs, sells them for substantially cheaper. Also, the balsa pieces are all machine sanded. I wish you luck on getting a Tsunami kit.
Happy flying and soft landings!

I am so happy I bought one of these. They should be back for sale in a couple years.
I just need to figure out how to get retracts in it.
This plane was reviewed by one of the mags in 1998 and was one of the reasosn I got into RC. I wanted one, it looked so cool.

Yes, one was mine and it got accepted.
A fellow named Al was the other offer. He was generous enough to allow me to win and that is just amazing. This hobby has the best community. Thank you, Al.
LOL, I feel like I just won the lottery.
