Hey all!
Just finished up an old kit!It was an Eagle 2 1990s version from what I can tell in the plans. I purchased it on craigslist. The guy who sold it to me had finished the wing.
I realized after thumbing through the manual that he had gone with the rubber band option for the wings.
Has anyone converted a rubber band design over to the bolt on option on a this plane or a similar one?Is it impossible at this point?I can't stand using rubber bands...The plans dictate that during the wing construction 2 additional pieces be added. The wings are covered and 100%done (flew it yesterday!).
Bad weather right now so thought i'd get my hands dirty if I can.
Anyways, great plane!

It can be done, but will involve removing the covering and sheeting from part of the center section. You can then add the required pieces and then replace the sheeting and covering. Not that hard if you have some building experience, and well worth it in my opinion.
