Default P-51 covering materials

Hi I like to built the TF P-51 Mustang.
I want to cover the craft with aluminum foil. Is anyone know where I can get some?
I found a place down in Florida but they wont ship to Canada.

Thanks in advance

not even sure how to respond to that one. i don't even know how you would get it to stick unless you use spray adhesive like 3M. sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. do a search here for 'flite metal' or 'flight metal'. it's aluminium tape used for wraping A/C ducts, and looks awesome if you get it on good. you can cut it to the size you want for individual panels if you want to get that detailed with your covering job. otherwise, get some chrome monokote, and it looks just as good. reflects the sun really bad though. get some polarized sunglasses for when you go flying.

And if you scrub it with a Scotchbrite pad, it looks like aluminum.

Use Chrome Ultra cote.. Alum foil is gonna look like you threw glue, plane and sheets of foil in the dryer to apply it......tooo many wrinkles.

Dang Les, that really looks good!!
OK, I'm not a Mono fan, I use Ultra for most everything. This is one of the times I say use the Mono Chrome covering. It shrinks up better then the Ultra, strange as it is I had no end of trouble with the Ultra silver, tore it off and went to Mono and it worked great.
