Hi all,
Thanks for looking. I inherited this 38 year old kit from my brother, and it looks to be in good shape, except that the tail was broken off. It is a SIG Super Chipmunk control line, and I have attached a photo of the damage.
Is there a way to repair this?
Thanks again,
Paul

Hi Sensei,
Unfortunately, I dont have the tail piece. It seems to be lost in the decades (but its amazing that this plane kit lasted that long!). I think, if I read you correctly, that I need to go get some balsa, cut to plans, and gusset it on with strips of balsa on the inside.... correct?
Thanks,
Paul
