I have been flying electric for the past 12 years (but i/c for 40 years before that). I am building a BUSA stick 40+ and am thinking of going glow with this one. I have 4 options for powering it.
1. I still have an Enya 29 V in good order which I could use.
2. An Enya SS40.
3. An Enya 41 4c (slightly less powerful than the SS40)
4 An Enya 53 4c ( lightweight and powerful but the most expensive option).
Any thoughts on any of the above. Do not direct me to anything other than Enya. In the past I have owned/used many of the makes on the market and Enya are my favorites.
Thanks............All the best....Chris UK.

Pretty much any 2 or 4 cycle 30 to 50 size would work fine. It is a very light plane.
I even used one to break in a 26 4 cycle and it worked OK except a bit of a long takeoff.

Depends on what type of flying you most enjoy, maybe the 53 Enya if you want to do some aerobatics but for just buzzing around leisurely any of the other engines will do. I like 4 strokers as they make less noise.

I built one from plans so cherry picked nice light wood. I was able to fly it very well with an OS 26 four stroke! I thinned the foil, put pull-pull on rudder and ran a snake thru one boom for the elevator. I even had removable wing tip extensions for thermal flying- it thermaled well power off- thankyou! It had lights in the wing and tail for evening flights, too! It was one 'trick Stick 26'!!!
