I am in the middle of building the re-released Patriot by GP, and was wondering if there was a benefit to sheeting the entire wing VS sheeting on the leading edge?
While on the subject of the Patriot
Any other building suggestions or modifications I should consider?
Thank you guys.

Sheeting the whole wing doesn't really add anything but weight, unless you plan on glassing it. The front gives it pleanty of streangth. Unless you want it all sheeted for pucture resistance, don't spend the time. Fast plane. The one I flew was a blast.

Typically the manufacturers have designed their kits with MORE than what is needed (structurally speaking) to fly the plane with the recommended engines. This is why we can put a "little" bigger engine in it and it will stay together. Great Planes is good about doing this. You might add a little rigidity and a small amount of strength by fully sheeting, but it all turns into DEAD WEIGHT.
