I was looking thru my MK Kit of a Silent St and for those who have never seen a MK (Japanese) Kit(not ARF) I am enclosing some photos of the rudder strake. All the shaping has been done with a router,the leading edge slotted to take thin plywood and the other edges grooved to take the sheet balsa. Block has been joined so the grain follows the shape.All this before laser cutting. This was one of the fallouts from ARF's as sales dropped and it became uneconomical to make these kits.

I bought a MK Zlin Z-50 kit off the RCU want ads a month or so ago and had the same thoughts. Easily the best kit I've ever seen. Looking forward to building it some day.
