Default Hardware?

Where can I get hardware like Clevis, pushrod ends, etc for a decent price. Tower seems kind of high, and so is the LHS. I want to stock up on the small parts as I have used quite a few up on my P-51 and Dewey, and will probably not have enough to finish the P-51 since I used what it came with. I also need some axles and wheels.

Hobby King has some great prices but if anything is on back order you may grow old waiting. The shipping can also remove any deal on prices you may get. I have a good local hobby shop plus several of the chain stores in my area. Whenever I go into the shops, even if I'm just along for the ride with a friend I buy bags of hardware just to have on hand. I buy contro rod in 6 or 8 packs, clevises both solder and golden in 12 packs. I do this every time I go into a shop. Screws like servo screrws and 2-56 and 4-40, nuts and washers I buy in bulk from Micro Fastener for way cheap!! I inform my friends when I plan on placing an order and we split the shipping. I buy several hundred servo screws at a time. Worth looking into. Tower is a beginners place to buy. They have most everything in stock all in one place but they don't always have the best prices or deals. It pays to shop around.

HK has the clevis I am looking for, but not the solder on screws for the pushrods, at least not in 2-56.  I am looking to get the Orange RX from them, so that makes it worth some of the stuff. They also have some wheels I need.  Majority of their stuff is metric, so I would need all metric to make it work.

I use only quality American made hardware. Last time I checked, clevises were a couple bucks a pack. Buying cheap metric clevices from HK seems like a false economy to me.

They have the good american ones for half the cost of the LHS in a 12 pack.  But do you really know where any of these parts are made anymore? Seems like everything on the shelves is made in China.

Yes, you read the lables. I just went out and pulled a couple of things from my building box. All made in the U.S.A., Dubro, Sullivan and Great Planes.

Just having the Company's USA adress on it means nothing,, if it doesn't say "Made in USA" on it, it most likely isn't
