My Feedback: (14)
Looking for some help on a Balsa USA stringray 120. I was hoping someone can tell me if this plane will take a GAS engine. I was hoping to use a ryobi 31cc conversion engine or a zenoah G-23.
I would like to convert to gas because of the savings in full cost, but I do not know if one of these engines will work.
Has anyone built this kit? It looks like a larger version of the SIG midstar.
Thanks

I flew mine with a g 23 it was a nice combo not over powered but enough for mild aerobatics . Only thing I recommend is shear webbing full length of the wing . Mine might of had soft spars but the wing had some flex until I added the shear webbing when I recovered it after three years of flying .
I used it to teach a couple of students to fly .It is a good soliod plane enjoy it.
