Looks like the last rib in the left pic is ok, use paper to make a template of it and you will have the pattern top make the rest.

Yes. And you only have to make a rib that goes back to the spar and sheer webs from the looks of it. I just had to do that on an 82 inch trainer where I landed a bit long and didn't make it over a fence pole on the way out. Only one rib squashed so not as major.

By the way, anyone notice that the ARF version has lightening holes on the ribs? Not much weight savings there, but it sure does decrease the compression strength. The kit versions have solid ribs which is much better.

that is not so bad. I will get you pics of the plans for that. the leading edge stock should be a common size, you could also glue in a square stick and sand to shape.

Here is some pictures of the damage.
Looks like I need shape and size of ribs and leading edge.

here are the pics, it show the LE stock and ribs. You might still want to make the template. try thick tin foil to press into the shape of the ribs, then trace to thick paper. make a copy on a copy machine , for "later" also.

I appreciate everyone's help in the rebuild.

I'm anxious to get the plane back in the air. I can't say enough on how the Webra 91 ignition is starting to run. The Webra muffler was so quiet that on landing I couldn't tell if it was running or not, and half throttle sounded like a purr.

Computermonkey, I have from a Tower scratch & dent sale, a complete wing set from a Tiger 60 ARF. I haven't used them in over two years. If you are interested in them let me know? I'll take $50.00 for the wing.

Hardly a scratch, - forgot to mention. be sure to check all hinges and hidden damage. covering can cover up damage that will cause problems in the air.

just push on everything a little bit and feel it out before you put it back in the air.

Well I done it, I ordered from Tower last week and stuff came in Wed. And inthe paper work was a tiger two for 99.98 so I ordered another one. Should be in early next week and will start building it right away with some mods. Life is sweet and then I get another tiger.

is that a Kit for 99.98? not the ARF for that much is it? Do they offer the Tiger 2 ARF at this time?

Yes it is the kit. I know the tiger 60 had came out in arf form but have not been aware they had ever done a tiger two as an arf. But if you end up with the kit they build up very nice and strait forward.

Yes I am waiting for the tiger sixty kit to go on sale awhile back they had in one of the tower sale papers for 125.00 but I waited to long to order it figuring what else I needed in that order it had got over. So I had ordered the contender kit instead because I knew they were going up.

I am interested in installing retracts in a Tiger 2 kit.  Has anyone been successful in placing tricycle retracts on a Tiger 2 (40 sized)?

R/C Addiction,

I remember your posts regarding the JBA. Good to see you're still using it. I noticed in the photos you cut the nose for what appears the muffler. What at you using for a muffler, the stock one or another? My Tiger 60 is on the shelve with a bearing issue and I'm thinking of install my JBA 15 in it.
