Hello everyone -
I wanted to know if there's anyone out there who would be willing to finish a late 1980's WACOSRE bi plane (Sterling Models ?) that Ihave. I received it as a gift when I was about 9 or 10 years old and my dad starting to work on the model right away, but never finished it and now sits in various states of completeness. Looking at the model as it stand right now, it appears that the main body is together as is the bottom wing and top wing. The top wing will need some replacement parts as the top of the wing has a hole in it and part of the side of the wing appears to have been worn away. The metal rod that holds the landing gear is rusted and I'm not certain if that would need to be replaced.
I know nothing about balsa wood model planes, glue compounds, monocoat, etc. and my father is unable to finish the model 20+ years later. I would love to have the plane completed and by someone who knows how. I can provide pictures of the plane as it stands right now to anyone who would be interested in undertaking this task.
I would like to know if you would be able to recommend anyone who would be able to take on this project for meto have the plane completed, in proper working order, monocoated (if that's still used)and all of the electrics (servos, wiring, etc.) are in proper working order as well.</p>
I am willing to ship everything that I have to the person who is able to complete this project, pay a commision, pay any monies for replacement parts and shipping back to my home.
Any info that anyone can provide or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank to all for reading my post.

You might find someone locally by looking on the AMA website, www.modelaircraft.org , there's a link to find clubs using your zip code. If the club has a website, send an email with your details. Check with hobby shops also for clubs or individuals.
