This is the Great Planes kit, to suit .20-.30 four stroke, 56" wing span.

Sorry, haven't seen one. Sounds nice, especially with the small 4-strokers. I run mine on nothing less than 15% nitro. Have fun!

There are a couple other threads about this plane that you'll be able to dig up for some more information. Basically, it's a fun little plane that most people really seem to like. I love mine Been flying it for about 5 years with a Magnum .30 four stroke, and now an Enya .46 four stroke. The handling is similar, but I enjoyed it more with the smaller engine. The .46 is going to be coming out soon for something else.

I have a spare OS .40 surpass which I want to install in this plane.
I know it states on the kit .20-.30 4stroke but it will give me a little power in reserve. And besides I don`t have to use all that power anyway!
Tried to do a search on this model in the forums but cannot find anything?

I built one a very long time ago. As for the kit it is straight forward and easy to build. I used an OS .25 for power, still have the engine. The plane is fantastic to fly and with the .25 it was very fast. I don't recall anything about the CG so I can't say if the .40 FS will be a problem. Power wise it will be fine. Right now I fly with a friend that just bought the eflite TC and I enjoy flying it too. At $150.00 dollars I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it but it's one of the better ARFs I have ever seen. Very scale looking and built well.

I built one a few years ago. Powered with a Saito .30 it flew well. I put it on floats and upped the power to a Saito .40. It flew well and I still have it. It is a good straightforward build and fun to fly.

Enjoy!

What size floats did you have on it

I used the great planes .20 sized floats. They worked well. I planned on using another set on a Norseman that I built(that all of the T-craft equipment went into, but I never got around to it and now I will be taking everything out of the Norseman to put in a Mustang).
