Default Wing fairings

Does anyone have any diagrams or pictures of how to build wing to fuselage fairings? I'm building a 60 size Killer Kaos and thinking of building them into the wing sadle. More Super Kaos or Mustang like. I really don't want to carve them out of solid blocks. The cowl and wing tips is wearing me out. My least favorite thing of building is carving. :-/

Thanks,
J

If you can find an instruction book for the Ultrasport, it should be in there. You might check out the Ultrasport build thread, too. I don't know for sure, but it's likely covered somewhere there. All you really need are a piece of thin plywood for the base (i.e. the part that rests on top of the wing and extends a little toward the back), some pieces of scrap balsa to give you roughly the shape, some filler, and a curved sanding block

Go to my Deception build under the classic pattern site, page three. This is how I make all my fillets. It works well, fast and strong.
Fillets do make a plane look and fly better.

Here is the method I use. It is part of a LaGG 3 build I posted on RCScalebuilder. Just used it again on two D3A1 Val dive bombers. http://www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/...G+3&PN=0&TPN=6 I estimate I have about 4 hours labor to complete the fillets on the Vals.

They are just 1/32 ply glued onto the fuse with epoxy and mated up to the wing. when the epoxy is set you just mix up some epoxy with micro balloons and shape them. There are a lot of threads on RCU on how to do them. Very easy and look cool.
