I picked up a Topflite AT-6 Gold Edition at a swap meet. I have started to build it and have a few questions. Manual is dated 1994.
Wingspan 70" weight 7.5-10# wingload 24-32 oz/sq.ft. length 49.5" engine .61-.91 2 stroke/ .91-1.20 4 stroke.
In the manual it calls for 4-7 servos. What torque oz servo is required for this plane? I am leaning towards both ailerons and flaps for the wing build. Has anyone built this plane in the past and any suggestions or changes you would make.
I know it is available as an arf and lists 50 oz servos. Is this pretty standard for the kit also? Plan to fly it in a scale like manner. Thanks for the help, I have been away from building or flying for several years and now have time to devote to it again.

50 oz servo's will be just fine. You will need 4 servo's for the wing, 2 flap and 2 aileron, 1 rudder, 1 elevator and a throttle. If you do retracts that would require another servo for the retracts. Great flying plane, you won't be disappointed. Good Luck, Dave
