Default my biplane

ok...the only plane i've ever bought is a trainer and i realy never had a reason to buy my any other plane cuz my uncle has about 500 planes( not really for like a 100 but oh well) and he lets me fly them any time...but today a friend of mine gave me a biplane he was given and doesn't want to take the time to fix it back up and i kind of want a project so i'm gonna work on it...i was wondering how i would know what size motor is best to put in it...do i need to measure the wingspan and everything then come and ask you guys or what....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....thanx

That would be your best bet. Tell us the wingspan, and length of the fuselage. Also, attach a pic if you can, or at least give us a good description. We'll have an answer for you!

Giving the weight would help too.

Welcome to the biplane world, I hope you get hook with them as I'm, they are more challenging, you need more skill and some times you need and extra underware after some flights, ja, ja, ja

ok...i don't have an ounce scale at the time but it isn't really that heavy wing's = 48 1/4" x 9
fuse = 38 1/2 x 4 1/4

yeah my uncle has a couple bipes and i like flying them the best cuz they seem to be able to throw them around easier except that when the engine dies....watch out your in for quite a ride...lol

and for some reason it won't let me upload images it just sits there

Looks, from the size, it should want a 40 to 50 engine.
