How do I tell the difference between an original Goldberg kit and a Brodak?
I was recently asked to sell some control line kits by the family of a deceased fellow flyer. One of the items is a Carl Goldberg Li'l Jumpin' Bean. I was notified this morning by a potential buyer that the kit is not an original Carl Goldberg, but made by Brodak(?) instead. How does one tell the difference? I see no mention of Brodak anywhere on the box or on the prints. Someone please help me on this one. It is currently listed on Ebay.

Perhaps the buyer could inform you?
Possibly by being laser cut, but I'm guessing. I thought the Brodak versions were labeled as such.

RE: How do I tell the difference between an original Goldberg kit and a Brodak?
The guy made sense. He said that I had an early one, before they were clearly marked Brodak. He said there should be a particular type of engine mount, and a plastic canopy, that the original didn't have. It checks out as he described it, and it is laser cut....I'll play it safe, and relist it as a Brodak. Would rather it not bring as much, than to get bad feedback.
