Hey folks, haven't posted here in a while. Thot you might like to see pics of my latest:
This is an 80" Edge 540T, which was produced by Airwild in the late 90's / early 2000s. It was produced in Mexico, pleanty of "Made in Mexico" stickers to attest to that, and nominally released as an ARC.
Let me tell you though, there was a lot of building still left to do. The cockpit hatch was only partially assembled, the phenolic tubes and wing root plates needed to be installed as did the fin and its fairings. For some bizarre reason, the stab came in 2 pieces to be joined with a plywood brace. Covering is Ultracote.
Since I still love the smell of nitro in the morning, I have powered it with one of my trusty Moki 2.10s. Glow haters, please feel free to navigate elsewhere
Have 8 flights on it so far and love the performance. Tracks very true and requires very little mixing on KE. Vertical with the Moki is really nice (14lbs weight, 24lbs thrust).
