Quadra 35 gas motor
What plane would be best for this engine ? I have one sitting around and I know it will run perfect..
So I need a plane built for this motor as it is hard to figure out what planes it will fit into .
So if you have one and a good plane it fits please let me know.
Thanks
David

The 35 is a good old dependable engine though down on power compared to more modern engines. It is also a bit heavy compared to newer offerings. I still see these in WW1 airplanes as well as high wing floater type planes. I'm sure many other airplanes would also be suitable.

I have used the Quadra's on the large Lazy Ace, the Phaeton90 and 1/4 scale Gypsy Moth. On my Phaeton90, it was the Quadra 72cc. I did have to move the firewall back a few inches and beef up the landing gear as the engine/muffler weighed 7 pounds but the plane was a dream to fly, still would land at a very low speed.
