Default aileron installation

i've lost the instructions and need help. When attaching the ailerons, do I glue the metal control linkage that is inserted into the aileron or not? Plane is a tower trainer 40(my first kit/plane). I'm a beginner and don't post often but I read the forums all the time and appreciate all of the support here at RCU.

Thanks,
ChasW

Chas:

If you are talking about the wire things with the ends bent at 90 degrees one to the other, they are called "Torque Rods" and they are indeed glued, with epoxy, into the aileron. Do be careful to get them on the correct sides, they aren't the same left and right.

HTH.

Also if they have nylon bearings, please don't get glue in the bearing. Did that once. Fixing was painful.
