Neither can I !
Must be some kind of contagious bug. However, it seems more end more folks are getting resistant to it, but at the same time get infected by the dreaded ARF-bug !

The way I see it, Flying is a sport, building is a hobby.

I like to build, and that's how I spend my winter evenings. But if it's mid summer, and I have nothing to fly, It's ARF's to the rescue!

If you're not hacking up lungfulls of balsa dust, haven't had your fingers glued together (or at least a huge buildup on them) then no, you haven't been doing it long enough!!

Personally, I'd rather build than fly!

ARF's are EVIL! (just my opinion!)

I just picked up the hobby at the first of the year, and I'm working on my 3rd and 4th kits at the moment. Progress is not as fast as I had hoped, too many honey-do's to contend with this summer. Heck, come to think of it, I haven't even solo'd my trainer yet! (picking up the phone and making an appointment with my instructor now....)

It seems to me you made a big mistake. That is like saying, "I don't get anything done around the house because I spend all my time building planes." Do you see the problem and maybe the consequences?

Hey, I only have two hands, ya know? Therefore 2 projects.

I could understand how you could have four going... it is that fifth that worries me. Talk about talent...

We will be married 61 years come December. I was building and flying before we took the plunge. Now when the little woman wants something done she has come to understand that it will be so when I can spare the time from building and flying.
I'm also into RC sailboats but have given up the cars and model railroad. I think I'm perfectly normal.

I must have a good wife...
Dosen't mind me building or buying, the balsa dust on the TV screen, late night building with all the noise and smells that goes with it..(I Have the hobby room in the next bedroom, band saw, air compressor etc.) Kits under the bed, behind the couch, on top of the computer cabinet..

Hmmmmmm, maybe that's why she got a new diamond ring yesterday...
