Default fuel tank help

I'm building the 1/5 TF Cessna in the kit they have you install a 12oz fuel tank sideway behind the firewall. I mounted a 16oz because I like the extra capacity for the 120 im putting in the plane. However the larger tank won't allow me to run the fuel lines out the center of the firewall in between the engine mount as shown in the kit. Will it be ok if I run the fuel lines let say out through the firewall to the left of the engine mount?

If you have room for the fuel tubing, should not be a problem at all. You want to make sure of the location of the fuel tank exit in refrence to the fuel intake on your engine. They need to be at about the same level. Hope this help's, Dave
