Default any experience with the Alien Aircraft Funmaster 72?

Has anyone built the Alien Aircraft Funmaster 72? I have one on order. Plan on putting a Magnum 91 on it and using it for candy drop. Any info will be a great help.

Kwikfli,

I have a Funmaster 72, that is waiting to be built. Will open the shipping box today.

Am currently building the Alien Aircraft Taylorcraft 72. Nice kit. Good materials and manual. Parts fit is good. Construction is STRONG.

I purchased the electric options and power system for both ( just one motor, ESC, etc. that will be used in both).

Have printed the instruction manual for the Funmaster and construction looks similar, but less complex in areas ( fuselage, wingtips), than the Taylorcraft. The Funmaster flap system is more complex than the Taylorcraft, ( which has no flaps), but looks to be "Fun" to construct.

What is really NICE is that I had questions about the electric power system and received a fast response from the owner and aircraft(s) designer. Try to get that kind of service from a vendor located in China or Viet Nam!!

Reason for going electric is that our club field has a rule of no glow or gas engines before 9:00 A.M. With electrics, I can fly in calm air and un-crowded airspace as soon as it is light enough to see.

Will be interest in updates on your build.

Regards,
