Default Removing CA (crazy glue)

Yesterday I ran into a bit of a jam with my current build. Some CA (crazy glue) ran down one of the aileron linkages and went into the brass tube that the linkage runs through. Now the linkage binds up when being moved. So is there a way to remove the CA from the assembly? I am planning to remove the effected aileron linkage from the wing and then attempt to remove the CA that seeped in between the linkage and the brass sleeve. Two ways I've been thinking of doing this is to heat up the linkage under a flame like gas kitchen stove since the linkage is a solid bent metal rod and the sleeve is brass, or, soak the entire linkage in some type of solvent that will free up the CA.

Does anyone know what would work best?

Thanks

If it's brass soak it in acetone. The heat is not going to do anything to help in removing the dried CA. But the acetone should do the trick. Just make sure you let soak in a well ventilated area as is soaks!!!!

Thanks for the advice. Is this something that happens quickly or over a few hours of time?

It will depend on how big the brass tube is and how plugged up it is with CA. Soak it in acetone for a bit and then run a piece of scrap wire through it to poke out the CA, then soak for a bit more, run the wire through, soak, wire, etc... You'll just have to play it by ear to see how it goes. Depending on how badly it's plugged up it shouldn't take too long. On the other hand, if it's totally blocked off and hard as a rock it might take a bit.

Curious question, is the brass tube a straight piece or is it curved?? If it's just a straight piece of brass tubing that his plugged up with some CA is it short enough that you can simply drill it out with a drill bit??
