Since you say another, why not scratch build one from the plans you already have? Fiberglass Specialties offers a cowl and wheel pants if you are looking at the 96" version.

That sucks. Lanier were bought up by Great Planes and they don't list anything but the Stinger in ARF form. I had a look at outerzone and they show nothing for Staudacher plans so you may be stuck with shopping fleabay and other classifieds for either a kit or the plans to build from.

If you can't find them here then try posting in the scratch and plans forum.

I have a set of plans, I will try and get them copied this week and send them to you. Send me a PM with your information. Here is a couple of pictures of the one I built last year. This the first kit I have ever built and the first plane I have ever covered, itt came out pretty good.

A question for welder: I have never built this plane so I'm wondering if the plans have all the ribs and formers shown on the plans in profile? Back in the day this was often the norm but not always. I'm finishing an old design now from kit plans with all the parts shown. This was done in case repairs were needed but they quit doing it later on and we had to make our own templates from the kit parts.
That plane is your first effort?? Fantastic build and really a good covering job!!

Hey Gray Beard, thanks for the compliments on my build. The plans do not have the ribs, the wings are foam sheeted with balsa. The plans are only half scale and don't have any of the formers or bulk heads. I wish I would have traced everything out but of course I didn't think about it at the time.

I just picked up a 42% HyperLite Slick 540 kit from Fibertech N More. I think I might try and do a build thread on it after I get my balsa in.
