Default GP Goldberg Tiger 60

I am getting back into the hobby after a five year layoff and I am thinking about picking up and building a GP Goldberg Tiger 60. I was thinking of a OS 65AX for a power plant.... I searched the forum and found several threads on some mods.... in particular the landing gear... I will be flying off of a grass field..... Does anyone have any suggestions or feedback on this plane?

Great airplane. I have dural gear and a ST90 on mine. Many folks use a 4-stroke 90. Most go for conventional gear. Enjoy!

I say let it all hang out with a DLE 20cc gas engine, DuBro heavy duty glass gear and a Sullivan tail wheel, might as well make a custom cowl for it too, slip tube mounted wings and put a little more on the stabilizer and rudder so you can uncork it. You will love this one, mine is a real Tiger.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Tiger 60. I have one waiting to be built. Go for it and keep us posted. Welcome back to the hobby.

Your .65 will fly it very well. Just add Dural or fiberglass main gear and a steerable tail wheel and you won't have any trouble on grass. Lovely flying airplane!
