Default Great Planes Ultimate .40 Electric????????????

I have been wanting one of these kits again.........I had one and sold it before I ever built it! I have an electric setup that would power this plane perfectly spinning a 15x8 prop. A couple questions tho......

Would this plane even have clearance to run a 15" prop?
Could there be an easy access hatch made for the battery which would be a 6 cell 3300mah pack?

I know that this plane was obviously designed for glow so I need some help from someone who has built the plane. I don't know that it would even be practical to try and convert it to E power.

Thoughts?

I think that it would be pretty much impossible now after looking more closely to get a batt. pack in and out of the plane with any amount of ease. If you have done an E conversion on this plane, I'd sure love to hear it. I guess if I do this one, it will have to be glow.......yuck!

I say go for it! If the airplane is unbuilt I don't see any reason why you cant incorporate battery tray/hatches into it. I personally hate glow engines, messy, overpriced fuel, etc..., gasoline or electric is where its at

I would really like to but.....................have you seen the fuse plan? There is one guy that I saw who did it on RCG but he had to cut a big portion of the cowl out in order to make it work and I don't want that ......it didn't look right. If I do this plane, it will have to be glow I guess......yuck again!
