How about covering the N-Strut wires with balsa strip and sanding them to an airfoil shape?
Take two strips of balsa the same thickness as the wire, place one in front and one in the rear, measure the total width of the three pieces, (wire and two balsa strips) cut two balsa side strips that width and sandwich the wire in-between. Takes longe to describe then to do. You can then stain, and poly finish or wrap with plastic covering or paint them.

Good luck and what a beautiful looking bipe!
