Default Sig 4*40 build-to elect advice please

Hey yall I have been out of the hobby for awhile now and started building some on and off. I have a 4 star 40 and I seen a few threads that was a little older about these builds but I am wondering if I can use the standard servos in the duals in the wings instead of minis(cause I have 4 hitec 485 in the boxes) I know I can use them for the rudder and elevator but the wings I would like to do the dual servos.I know it will be tight but maybe if I lay them side ways I wonder if I would be able to make this happen.
I also would like to know if I can use a Y between the aileron servos and use it in a port from my spektrum 6 channel receiver. I hate to ask questions but I am doing the best I can with it.
If it comes down to it I can sell the 485s on here . I sure do appreciate any help.Kenny

You did not say how long you have been out of the hobby. But things have changed a lot in the last 10-15 years..
The Hitech 485 servos will be just fine as individual aileron servos for the 4star40.
I am not familiar with all the feature of the Spektrum 6 channel, None the less using a Y harness will be able to work just fine but there should be no need with that radio set up. You would have more versatility using the available functions of the radio for two aileron set up.

Hey thank you so much for reply. Im sorry for the delay but we had to work today and I just got on here.I have been in and out of it but really never got a real chance to fly good. I have the Turbo timber plane and been working with the real flite 9,5 sim and also been flying a little bit with instructor at the club field.
I built my first plane back years ago and never got a chance to fly it cause it was more like the second plane(it was a sig somethin extra). I sold it years ago and this plane is my second to build and decided to kinda build it while learning to fly with the other trainer before i even try this thing out-lolo
I hated I bought alot of my stuff and its all electric. I have the spektrum Nx8 and the spektrum smart chargers and even got the G2 batteries. My boss(wife) told me it was either the drag car or the planes( I use to race a little bit of 1/8th mile at local track but things kinda started getting bad with my health and with amputation of my left leg above knee didnt help out any either to tell the truth. I sure do thank you for taking time and helping me here.
