Probably too many to list!!
this is an open question, as you're invinting many, many opinions!!
What other critiria is required? ease of build? Completeness of kit? flyign qualities? Type of flying? Scale kit?
My top three:
Sig Something Extra
(Well, just about any Sig plane!!)
Great planes Slow Poke sport 40
(OK, a goofy / cartoony looking thing, but a turely 'great plane'! But then again, jsut about any Great Planes plane!)
Goldberg Chip w/ fiberglass parts...

You didn't mention what level you are at in terms of building and flying. But my favorite in that catagory thus far is the great planes super sportster 60. It builds easy, though a bit more work than some of the newer kits. It fly's great. Mine is powered by a ST 75 with a 13x6 prop out front. Great combination.

I second the Venture 60. Cannot beat the quality and ease of build. This kit actually makes building a pleasure, and makes you want to continue building...

Take a look at the CA model kits. Just got one and the quality is great.
Laser cut woould.
CNC cut foam
Sheeted foam core wings, stab and fin.
Only down-side in the building guide. Rally is just digital photos on one being built. Can be confusing at times.
