lucky dog? is it that good of a kit ?i just like the looks of the supersportster series and since the bipe is discontinued i wont see four or five others at the field just like it everybody suggested the 4* 40 when i was looking for my second plane but theres lots of them at the field i like somthin different but for my third plane i wanted a bipe but different than the ultimate

Yes, this is one of the best flying of the small sport bipes. A .53 will be great in this model. I'm sure the kit was discontinued because bipes don't sell as well as mono's, but GP really had a winner with this one. They will fly fast when you want them to, but slow down pretty nicely for landing. Like almost all bipes, they have a bit of roll and pitch couple with elevator, but nothing that can't be mixed out. Do what you can to keep the tail light without making it flimsy. I also suggest tracing all of the parts before you start building so you will have templates handy should you decide you want to build another later on or have a mishap and need to replace something.

i have aquired a sportster bipe and it suggests a 35 to 45 size 2 stroke would an irvine 53 be a good choice for this kit?
