Default canopy glue

I am building a goldburg extra 300 and Im at the point where I have to place the floor into the canopy. It seems short at the ass end and the plastic floor does not go all the way to the front of the canopy. Is this correct and how do you mount the floor assembly to the canopy?

Default RE: canopy glue

I have built two of the GB Extra 300s and am closely acquainted with several more that friends have built over the last ten years or so. Most of us have not used the plastic floor and rear "bulkhead" as it does not hold up well out here in the desert heat. It has cracked badly on two of the planes that did use it. We build a floor of 3/31" balsa, grain running crosswise, and a balsa rear "bulkhead". Most of us use RC 56, or its successor Pacer 560 to glue canopies on.

You will love the GB Extra....fine, fine RC airplane!
