Thanks for the replies! What about the Great Planes easy sport 40? The reason I ask is I am looking for a second plane but I want to try a laser cut kit this time, my trainer was die cut and I wanted to compare them.

Greenbean,
Try the 4 Star 40. It is laser cut. It is also a great flyer. I used Hitec 425 servo's in mine. In the wing I used the large red servo arm and have about double the control throws. I also cut a wing bay off each side. It still floats on landing. I'm using a TT .46 Pro with an 11 X 6 MA prop. I cut 3/4" off the front of the canopy to remove the bubble look. You can also use a Somethin Extra canopy. Great flyer. You will like it.

GreenBean,
This is the color sheme I did mine in. The pilot is a green mouse. I flew 6 gallons of fuel thru it this summer. I really - really like it.

John, Thanks for the pics. It really looks good, I was looking at the kit at Tower Hobbies and they said it requires a .30 to .40 engine, but I have a os .46 fx that I could put in it. do you think this engine would work well with this plane? What do you have in yours? Thanks for the help.

Greenbean,
A .46FX would work great. I have a Thunder Tiger .46 Pro in mine. I like an 11 X 6 prop. I have use an APC 11.5 X 4 and it worked well also.
